I can’t express my astonishment at how efficient these professionals were. They were constantly moving from the time they stepped through the door ( mind you we were on the 3rd floor of an apartment with numerous heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be moved). Bj and his crew while still be unbelievably efficient still made time for small talk and treated us like more than just a “customer”. All of our furniture and items were loaded with care and thus far not a scratch has been found on any objects. The elevator at the first assisted living community was quite the distance away from the apartment. At the second assisted living community, the elevator was down at the start of the move. I meant to write this review several months ago, but decided it’s better late than never. When someone provides excellent service, they deserve to be recognized. We had no prior experience with them, and did get other estimates, but we ultimately chose Village Movers. What a great decision! They moved us from Eustis, FL on February 9th of this year (2023) to Franklin, TN. They were absolutely FANTASTIC! The three who packed up everything were Trent, Chaz, and Steele, and they packed with obvious expertise and patience. Trent and Chaz drove the truck to Tennessee and unloaded the next day. Not ONE THING was damaged in any way. Everything was perfect. They unloaded very efficiently and put things where I wanted them - including a very heavy and difficult piece - an antique upright (top-heavy) piano! I had other antiques and fine china as well. Everything was fine! On top of their expertise, Trent and Chaz could not have been more courteous and respectful. Even though Village Movers is a small-town business - they can handle big jobs and long distances - and I’d choose them again over nationally recognized moving companies any day! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Quick work and reasonable pricing.

Someone came over to assess the quantity of items to be moved and within less than half an hour we were given the cost and asked if we wanted to contract. We had to change the date of moving and all we had to do is call and we were accommodated with no question s asked. The day of the move we were given a window of one hour arrival time and sure enough they showed up (2 movers) and worked on loading our belongings, drive to the new house and unloaded.

We contacted Village Mover to move a beautiful, somewhat delicate, 500 plus pound bronze statue about 20 miles, from the previous owner's home to our home. Alex and I discussed the details of the move over the phone, and he assured me that his team would be able to easily handle the task of getting the statue to its new home undamaged. Scheduling the move went smoothly, and his team of 3 professional, polite, and very capable gentlemen arrived on time and well equipped for the job. All 3 introduced themselves to me, but unfortunately I have forgotten their names. After sizing up the job, they carefully moved the statue and loaded her onto the moving trailer. They then thoroughly and effectively secured her for the 20 mile trip. When they arrived at our home, and opened the trailer for unloading, there she stood, still securely fastened in place. The unstrapping and unloading process went just as smoothly as the load in. All 3 gentlemen were very willing, and able, to patiently move and manipulate the statue until my wife and I were extremely satisfied with her positioning. Thank you Alex, Village Mover, and the team of 3 that made this a pain-free very positive moving experience. I would definitely call them again for any future moving needs.

Okay, I can’t say enough good things about these guys! FWIW, I have moved a ridiculous number of times (military) and these guys were by far the quickest, friendliest and best to work with. They loaded up in less than an hour, delivering my stuff to my new home (2hrs away) on the same day in excellent shape. They (Kimble, Shane and Zach) were all so nice & even kept an eye out for my insane puppy & old deaf dog who kept trying to ‘help’ ☺️ They did a great job getting the stuff in the house (even awkward sized things) without any dents or rubs to the walls, they were very careful. At the end, they had me do a truck walk through, to verify nothing was left behind, before they left. That attention to detail is EXACTLY what you want from a moving company! Their pricing was beyond reasonable, timing was amazing, and care for my stuff was appreciated. I highly, highly recommend this company!

I recently used the Village Mover to help relocate my elderly Mother (88 yrs old) from her home in Summerfield FL to an Assisted Living Community in Lutz FL. I decided to go with Village Mover, rather than one of the Goliath moving companies, for our move from The Villages to Arizona. I was pleased with the politeness and hard work done by the young men who packed our dishes, artwork and television with accessories, and then drove our household cross country and delivered on time. While we had no breakage, there were several items with some scratches or rub marks. Our recliners weren't working after they left but I take responsibility for that as I neglected to check . I recommend Mike Collup and Village Mover for any length move.

I have used.village mover several times and the biggest problem that we have in this local area is when a good company creates a name or a brand all of these Lesser companies or knock off companies that aren't any good and will take advantage of you try to knock off of their name one letter one word variation this is a great company but everybody needs to pay attention and when somebody refers a company to you do your due diligence

7/13/2016 Made arrangements

with Mike of the Village Movers at Fruitland Park. He said the truck and crew would be at my home at 8:00a.m. on the 13th. I got there at 7:55 a.m. and they were already there. They moved all of our belongings, with special care for the Grandfathers' Clock. They moved my freezer chest without having to unload it. At the new house they placed all the furniture where we asked and no "Wall scraping." They were all done and gone by 9:45 a.m. At 11:00a.m. I remembered I did not plug in the freezer! I went out and it was plugged in and humming. The Grandfather Clock is alive and well. Service and price could not have been better. Thanks Mike.
